Stones are an important part of jewelry. They add color, shape, and depth creating additional elements of visual interest. This class, focussing on cabochons will provide students with basic setting techniques that can be used to create pins, pendants, earrings, and rings. Techniques demonstrated will include both hand fabricated and pre-made bezel settings. Students will make a pendant from their set stone.

The class is limited to two students. Instruction will be by the “discuss, demo, do” approach.

Materials fee, $75.00 (paid directly to the instructor) includes stones, bezel wire, and pre-made bezels as well as studio supplies.
