Liberty Arts

This class will provide the student with a basic introduction to soldering, texturing metal and making one and two band rings. Students will learn on copper ring blanks and then make a silver ring with a contrasting external band. At the end of the class, each student will have learned how to measure for a ring, how to texture metal, be introduced to soldering and finishing techniques, and form both a single and a two band ring. 

Class is limited to two students. Instruction will be by the discuss, demo, do methodology. Classes are conducted in an air conditioned/heated classroom.

Materials fee of $45.00 (paid directly to the instructor) includes copper, one piece of silver approx. x .5”, and shop supplies.
