Make Your Own Glass Easter Egg and Flower
Working with an experienced glass blower, the student will learn "hands-on" how to apply different colors to molten glass, how to shape the semi-molten form and finally to inflate the glass into an Easter egg shape. NOTE: There is less "hands-on" with making flowers because they are not "blown" like an egg. But the student will lay out the flower's color pattern
Each student in this class will help make either two flowers or one flower and one egg . After the eggs and flowers are formed, they will be placed in our annealer where they will be slowly cooled down to room temperature and will be ready for pickup starting the following Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, from 5pm to 9pm.
Blow pipes will be sterilized between each use.
Also, students should not wear loose-fitting clothes nor clothes made of synthetic fabric (these melt easily).
Age Limit- 13 years old, minimum.
