In this third segment of Intro to Jewelry, students will learn how to make a pair of prong set earrings from start to finish. Brass, copper, sterling silver ear wire, and cabochons are included in the material fee of $20, paid directly to instructor upon arrival. If students would prefer to work in silver, they can purchase directly from the instructor during class.

Techniques we will be learning:

-How to use the Smith Little Torch to solder prongs (and other tiny things)

-Designing + fabricating stone settings

-How to use different tools to prong set

-Finishing and polishing with the flex shaft
