This class will focus on sand casting small objects using Delft Clay and pewter. The class will discuss the design constraints for the cast object, the creation of the mold, the pouring metal, and the finishing of the completed piece.
The instructor will talk about the theory & history, and then demonstrate a casting. Then the students will cast small objects of their choice.
There will be a $20 material fee due at the beginning of class.
