This piece of jewelry dating back to Rome can provide you with tremendous leeway in design and execution as you differentiate your jewelry from another metalsmiths.The fibula is a one piece, multi-dimensional brooch which can be manipulated and adorned to create truly unique jewelry. The class will first go over making a taper and then proceed to create a fibula.

The class is limited to 2 students. Instruction will be by the “discuss, demo, do” approach.

Materials fee, $520.00 (paid directly to the instructor) includes copper and sterling silver wire as well as studio supplies
