Metals 302, Making a Cook Pot, 8 Hours, $400.00

Copper pots have long been a mainstay of kitchens around the world. This class will teach students how to make a copper cook pot, in this case a small pot, approximately 3.5” (dia.) x 4”. Students will learn how to form the body of the pot, attach a base, rivet a handle onto the pan, and tin the pot’s interior. The pot itself will be heavy gauge copper with a brass handle.

Materials fee of $85.00 (paid directly to the instructor) includes copper, brass, and tin, and shop supplies.
