Liberty Arts

This course is designed for returning students who have completed the “Introduction to Woodturning” course and will focus on refining those skills and adding new skills and techniques to enhance woodturning projects.

Students will refine the skills and techniques learned in “Introduction to Woodturning” to create woodturning projects of their own design. Workshop safety will be stressed as the projects become more complex and different woods are used for projects. Sanding and finishing techniques for completed projects will be discussed as well as project enhancements such as texturing, beading, and coloring.

Class size: 2 students per class

NOTE: On the day of class, a one-time materials fee of $20 per student must be paid to the instructor separately from the Liberty Arts registration fee.
